I love to travel!  My first step in planning a trip is to go on-line and do my research.  Too often, I find a ton of information when I really want someone to tell me the details of where they stayed and what they did, and most importantly what they would change the next time around.  After much encouragement from friends and family, I decided to make this blog to do just that for the vacations we’ve taken.

We are eclectic travelers.  We love to go on adventures, but we are not adrenaline junkies.  We especially love to be outdoors and to check out wildlife.  We have been to Costa Rica, Baja California, Hawaii, Yellowstone, Yosemite, and even South Korea just to name a few of the amazing places we have experienced.

I like to say that I find the middle road when we travel.  We are not luxury hotel types – you won’t find any recommendations here for spas and spa treatments.  We are also not campers.  I have done tent camping and “glamping,” and while they are adventures all their own, I need my own restroom and shower at the end of the day.  We like to check out the touristy areas – we don’t want to miss the big stuff!  And we also like to get away from the crowds and find our own adventures.

So, we vacation right in the middle.
